Sister Frances Wetzel was born in Winslow, AZ. She has served as an Adrian Dominican Sister all over the country including in Tucson, and Phoenix, AZ.

Fr. Keith Brennan, SDS entered into eternal rest on September 9th at the age of 80. Fr. Keith retired to Tucson in 2008 where he assisted in the Salvatorian ministries: Most Holy Trinity Parish and Jordan Ministry.

Fr. Maximilian Hottle passed away on June 22nd in the company of his brother Franciscans, and a close friend caring for him at San Xavier del Bac Friary. Fr. Hottle’s death was not unexpected for he was battling cancer.

A favorite ministry was washing the feet of those who participated in the Migrant Walk, a week-long 76-mile trek from Sasabe to Tucson, Arizona commemorating the lives of those migrants who have died and calling for immigration reform. 

He was invested in the Capuchin habit in 1966, perpetually professed in 1971, and ordained a priest in 1973.

Br. Tom passed away on September 14, 2020.

Sister Barbara Ann Hehr, formerly known as Sister Fredrick Ann Hehr, died on Sunday, May 10, 2020, at the Dominican Life Center in Adrian, Michigan. She was 86 years of age.

The Province of the Most Pure Heart of Mary (PCM), Order of Carmelites, mourns the death of the Reverend Joseph McGowan, O.Carm., who died at the age of 84 on Tuesday,

"Brother Charlie" who was very active at Salpointe in the 1970s and in more recent years returned to Tucson for retirement.

Fr. Clifford was age 92 and retired in 2012.  He was 72 years a friar and 64 years a priest.  Much of his life was spent taking care of the peoples within our diocesan boundaries.

Monsignor Todd was appointed Pastor Emeritus at St. Thomas the Apostle Parish in March 2010. 

Father Robert Tamminga, the pastor of Saint Francis de Sales Parish in Tucson, passed away shortly before 9:00 AM on Wednesday, June 17, 2020, from a short, non-covid related illness.
