As human participation in God’s creativity, artistic expression becomes the doorway into the presence of God. It carries the people, places, and histories through which it has traveled. A medieval manuscript marking the human encounter with God remains alive by contemporary performance and modern reflection. A familiar celebration gathers new voices. A chamber trio invites its audience into the art of discovery. Individual singers become a collective body of sound.
The 2026-2027 Cathedral Concert Series presents seven encounters shaped by movement, memory and exchange. Each concert begins in a different musical world, yet all share a belief that listening is an active meeting place. This year the series is titled CONFLUENCES and it invites us to experience tradition not as something fixed, but as something renewed whenever artists, audiences and communities come together. The Diocese of Tucson cordially invites all to attend though for some seating is limited so you are encouraged to request tickets early.
