October 13, 2026As our Holy Father, Pope Leo XIV, bravely embraces the cross of cancer, Bishop Misko asks the faithful of the Diocese of Tucson to join him in remembering the Holy Father in our daily prayers and at Mass.God of mercy and comfort, our help in time of need and our surety in time of uncertainty, we ask you to infuse Pope Leo XIV with your grace. When he feels the weight of his illness, look upon him with your kind benevolence. When he feels alone, comfort him with your divine presence. And when he feels fatigued in body and spirit, grant him patience and courage. In your good time, restore him to health so that he may continue to lead the Church with generosity and vigor. May the Blessed Mother, under the title of Our Lady Health of the Sick, intercede for Pope Leo with her Son, Christ the Healer. Amen.
