By New Outlook Hope is a fundamental aspect of the human experience and is deeply intertwined with faith. In the face of hardship, loss, or uncertainty, the desire for a better future can feel lost and with that a sense of purpose is gone. One cannot truly live a full life without hope. The journey of faith involves navigating moments of doubt and darkness, and within these trials, finding hope. And lest we forget, Jesus’ whole mission was to share joy with you. He said it himself, “I’ve told you these things so my joy may be in you.” If you want to dwell deeper into this, you will not want to miss Paul George’s talk Saint Thomas the Apostle in Tucson on Sunday, November 2 at this year’s XLT.
XLT is an evening of prayer/devotion open to all and includes praise and worship, a message and the Exposition/Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. While receiving Jesus in the Eucharist at Mass is the most powerful encounter we can have with our Lord, Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is an incredible opportunity to grow in relationship with Him. This is why we have Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, to prolong the time we spend with Jesus in the Eucharist, because we desire for more time with Him. XLT is a devotion focused simply on that, growing deeper in our relationship with Jesus.
