Our Jubilee Year of Hope concludes at the Vatican on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 when Pope Leo XIV will close the Holy Door at St. Peters Basilica.
The Diocese of Tucson will celebrate the closing of this Holy Year of Hope on Sunday, January 4th at the Noon Mass at St. Augustine Cathedral. All who have gone on pilgrimage to Rome this year are welcome to join us for the Closing Mass as we give thanks for this blessed time of prayer and reflection during this Holy Year. You are welcome to visit our pilgrimage sites around the diocese during this final month and continue to offer Prayers of Hope as we welcome these Advent and Christmas days.
The pilgrimage sites are St. Augustine Cathedral, Tucson, San Xavier Mission, Tucson, Immaculate Conception Parish, Yuma, St. Andrew The Apostle Parish, Sierra Vista and Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish, Nogales. Visitation to these sites offers the Jubilee indulgence.
