June 23, 2025Please pray for the repose of the soul of beloved Rev. Frank G. Cady, who passed away June 20, 2025, from ongoing health issues.
Frank G. Cady was born on February 22, 1952, in Tucson, AZ. He was raised within the midtown Tucson area, alongside his family, which included his parents, two brothers and one sister. He attended the former Julia Keen and Roberts-Naylor Elementary Schools, before moving onto high school at Tucson High. After graduation, he attended the University of Arizona, studying education. He subsequently enrolled at St. John’s Seminary in Camarillo, CA, where he achieved a Master of Divinity. Fr. Frank was then ordained to the priesthood by Bishop Francis Green on May 22, 1981, in Tucson.
Fr. Frank faithfully served at several parishes within the Diocese of Tucson after his ordination, including as Assistant Pastor at Our Mother of Sorrows from 1981-1985, as Asst. Pastor at St. Ambrose from 1985-1990, as Pastor at Most Holy Nativity from 1990-2004, as Administrator of St. Helen in 2004, as Asst. Pastor at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton from 2004-2006, as Parochial Vicar at St. Augustine Cathedral from 2007-2009 and as Parochial Vicar at St. Odilia in 2009. Sir Frank Cady was also a Knight Commander of the Equestrian Order of Holy Sepulchre of Jerusalem.Funeral Details
